Crafted using whiskies aged in a mix of cask types—first-fill bourbon, quarter casks, sherry butts, and European oak—Lore offers depth, balance, and intensity in every sip. This multi-layered approach delivers a full spectrum of Laphroaig’s character.

The nose opens with signature Islay peat—earthy and coastal, with seaweed, iodine, and bonfire smoke. Soon after, sweet vanilla, roasted coffee, and hints of stone fruit emerge, giving it unexpected warmth.

On the palate, Lore is full-bodied and intense. The peat smoke dominates at first, but layers of spice, dark chocolate, and rich oak follow quickly. You’ll notice cracked black pepper, salted caramel, and a touch of dried fig, all wrapped in silky texture.
