San Cosme Artesano Edición 01

Edición 01 is the first release in San Cosme’s limited Artesano series. It features a wild agave blend made in Oaxaca. The mezcal is distilled from 50 percent Madrecuixe, 20 percent Tobalá, and 30 percent Espadín agaves. Most of the plants used are wild or semi-wild, offering rich natural variation and terroir.

Crafted traditionally and bottled at 43 percent ABV, this mezcal presents a clear color and refined body. The aroma opens with smoky wood, fresh citrus peel, leather, and grassy herbs. These notes are bright yet grounded in earthy character.

On the palate, soft smoke blends with vegetal tones from the wild agaves. Leather, herbs, and minerals unfold gradually, giving a layered mouthfeel. The finish is long and warm, with lingering citrus zest and savory undertones.
